| 1AT026 Bernardo ... the voice of Cortina just dead |
We don't know what is happening into our Group.
Just received a phone call from Cortina d'Ampezzo. Another Old Guard member (29 years of membership) just dead (few hrs ago) for an hearth attac (the same of Marcello).
1AT026 Bernardo is one of older AT members. Ever very active on the radio and a devote and real AT.
I spoked with him by telephone only three days ago. He said to me to stay in good standing and promised
to come in Asti asap because he missed the last meeting in August !
He asked me to prepare for him some awards for his 310 countries and more than 3000 ATs contacted with
QSL during these years.
Dear Bernardo .... my God ......... these terrible news are destroyng me.
I try to be strong but now is too.

| 1AT032 Marcello - Vicepresident just dead |
Few minutes ago we have received a terrible phone call from Anna (Marcello's wife).
Our friend Marcello 1AT032 this morning is dead for an hearth attac !
Marcello .......... ever ready to help during the past 28 years !
Ever present in all meetings with Anna.
Another great AT and vicepresident gone in sky.
We will never forget him, as will not Franco 02, 059 Bob, 137AT011 Roy, Adina 042, 2AT011 Brownie and Rosanna from USA . Too many vicepresidents and AT Old Guard members dead in few years.

This is a feral info received just now: Our brotherly friend and fantastic AT Vicepresident, today morning, is dead in the Hospital San Camillo of Roma.
Here in Asti and Italy all ATs are crying. National Contest Italia ( organized for tomorrow and Sunday ), Meeting and Contest Toscana planed for next week are all suspended.
For me and for many of us, Bob was like a brother and ( as He said ) the AT was his second family. We lost many good ATs and Vicepresidents but Bob 059, like 02 Franco, were a very important and essential part of our Group and I remain ever more alone.

Good evening from Nouméa.
It's with a great sadness that i inform you that David ( 172AT107 ) has past away this morning. David has been a very popular dx'er of New-Caledonia, member of the 342AT0 team and of many IOTA activities from the island. Some of you had perhaps the pleasure to meet David at Australia and France meetings or during the World meeting is Asti ( 2000 ). Life continue but today is a difficult day.

Geachte lezer,
hierbij deel ik U mede,dat een Alfa Tango Lidmaatschap ook kan aangevraagd worden via email.
Ik maak U er wel attent op dat er moet worden voldaan aan verchillende Criteria.
Zoals b.v 30 landen met QSL bevestigd hebben.
Ik krijg de laatste weken veel aanvragen van mensen die nog niet eens 1 [een] land bevestigd hebben?
Verder word dan alles door mij afgehandeld via Telefoon of email.

To join the AT group in the coutries where iscriptions are accepred is compulsory to have a minimum of 30 DXCC countries or 50 AT members worked and confirmed by QSL. All modes and all band (CB & HAM) are admitted. For CBers only 11 mtrs band is admitted. Only the countries included in DXCC list are considered valid.
The G.R.I. Alfa Tango recognize four operator categories. To join with third category just send a list of 30 DXCC countries or 50 AT members worked and confirmed by QSL. In order to obtain 2nd, 1st or S (Super) operator category, it's necessary to send a photostat for every country confirmed. In any case the group reserves the right to inspect the original QSL's in order to verify the qualifications.
